The foreground of this acrylic painting portrays an innocent girl with a beaming smile, joyously celebrating of Lunar New Year in the United States.The back of the painting is a newspaper torn in the middle, signifying the broken relationship between the US and China in recent years. The red thread shows the efforts, not very effective, being put in to repair the relationship. The painting conveys my worry about the fate of innocent American Asian kids in the future.
